As a Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst - Level 4 you will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Our Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (shortened as "Material Cost Management Analyst") will be primarily responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets and schedules for direct contract work on various aerospace programs. An ideal candidate will also provide meaningful guidelines for the program and supply chain functions in order to execute the program to cost and schedule targets. You and your team of peers will assist the programs with financial analyses such as budget vs actuals, estimated cost at completion, funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting, and variance analysis. The team will also monitor contract budget and support adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, prepare expenditure projections and support timely requests for additional funding to the government. This position will be based out of Magna, Utah (Bacchus Plant). This position is a non-telecommuting role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the following: Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete Maintain the accuracy of the managed WBS structures (or Control Accounts) through recurring monthly status of activities, manual adjustment entries, and analyzing resulting variances to budget Provide support to internal surveillance to include analysis of program performance, monitoring the Estimate to Complete (ETC) and program Estimate at Complete (EAC), review of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) and Change Requests (CRs) Why You? Basic Qualifications for level 4: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of stated professional experience - OR - Master's degree and 6 years of stated professional experience Will consider an additional 4+ years of stated experience in lieu of degree Experience with financial analysis or reporting Strong understanding of material movement or material contracts in a government contracting setting Experience with MS Office Suite Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) Ability to obtain an Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with program team, stakeholders, and various customers Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration Defense industry experience Working knowledge and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM) and industry standards EIA 748 guidelines Program Cost Control experience Experience with FAR/DFAR Proficiency of the following systems or software: Deltek Cobra or similar project management software, Microsoft Project Deltek CostPoint or other BW/MRP user experience Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance DCMA EVMS audit experience Working understanding of support to Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) both as a Prime and Subcontractor
