Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working with students in a school setting through teletherapy and in-person services. This role supports educational programs and provides essential speech and language therapy to diverse student populations. Location: Huntingtown, MD (Teletherapy and On-Site at Warwick Elementary School, North Dorchester Middle School, and Choptank Elementary School) Position Details: Contract length through June 10, 2026 Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week Start dates: Immediate openings at Warwick Elementary and North Dorchester Middle, and April 1st start at Choptank Elementary Work primarily within public school settings, providing individualized and group speech therapy sessions Qualifications & Requirements: Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license Experience delivering teletherapy and in-person therapy services in a school environment Strong knowledge of educational speech therapy standards and protocols Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and educators Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students K-8 Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Adapt therapy techniques for teletherapy sessions as needed Participate in team meetings and coordinate with educational support staff This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on students communication abilities within a supportive school district environment. Immediate and early spring start dates provide flexibility based on availability.
