Grants Management Specialist DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Grants Management Specialist with a Secret Clearance in Washington, DC to support our government customer. This position is onsite. Duties & Responsibilities: Support U.S. Government representatives in all stages of the award process to ensure efficient and accurate communication with grantees/implementers. Organize meetings between Project Officers, Grant Officers and grantees, provide technical assistance during award execution, assist with award closeout, work on grant compliance activities, assist in grant reviews and respond formally to grant and NOFO inquiries from current and potential grantees. Assist with trainings and development and maintenance of standard operating procedures. Complete all actions associated with risk assessment and mitigation in collaboration with Program Management Analysts and other staff. During the pre-award phase, organize and oversee the aspects of the review panel process. Track submissions, organize review panels, compile questions and work with Grants and Program Officers to collect and consolidate responses and compile additional internal communications. Work closely with the Grant Officer on the active award and award closeout processes providing technical assistance in the grant systems and files, tracking and reviewing grant and cooperative agreement budget negotiations, preparation of pre-award due diligence and award action documentation, and support in the development of Statements of Work (SOW); assist Grant Officers and Project Officers with the development of awards incorporating goals and evaluation schedules. Assist Grant Officers and Grant Officers Representatives with award monitoring and tracking. Provide administrative support to staff and grantees to ensure they have proper access to grant database and payment systems, as necessary, provide guidance and assistance to grantees regarding travel and payment authorizations, and provide support for award file documentation. Use Department and USAID systems such as GLAAS, ASIST, ABACUS, MyGrants, and StateInsight to prepare award documents, amendment documents for the Grants Officer's use consistent with Department policies. Ensure that award files for all awards are complete and accurate. Review grantee reports and other information submitted by the grantee to ensure that awards are progressing in a manner consistent with their scope and intent. Advise the Grants Officer on issues requiring the Department's attention. Provide advice and support to Grants Officers' Representatives concerning award provisions, requirements, and processes. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for grants management tasks. Qualifications: Active Secret Security Clearance. Bachelors with 2 years' experience or 5-7 years of relevant work experience. Moderate knowledge of U.S. Government grant regulations and policies and demonstrated relevant qualifications. Demonstrated self-management, experience assisting and reviewing grant standard negotiation documents, project oversight and strategic thinking.
