Job Title: Documentation Specialist As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, printing, copying, scanning, binding, and storing submittal documentation in accordance with customer contract requirements. Such documentation is inclusive of, but not limited to, engineering drawings, specifications and schedules, and proposal requirements. A typical day at Prime Controls involves: Acting as liaison between project managers, customers, automation specialists, field resources, and CAD to prepare submittal documentation. Generating test documentation to meet internal and external testing requirements. Following established processes for gathering documentation required for submittal preparation. Gathering information for submittals and verifying documentation with engineering. Obtaining quotes, supporting documentation, and specifications. Entering data, scanning, printing, and copying as required for submittal preparation. Assembling and binding submittal documentation. Reviewing and verifying project documents for format compliance with submittal requirements and completion. Conferring with account managers, project managers, engineers, operations, CAD supervisor, and others to specify submittal documents needed, coordinate schedules, and prepare documents. Recommending improvements to document appearance and templates. Providing input to streamline document production and assembly. Assisting other employees and users with document software and hardware troubleshooting. Occasionally proofreading submittal documents upon request from project managers and engineers.
