Marketing Intern The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting with all stages of marketing campaigns, including drafting proposals, preparing presentations, and researching consumer trends to identify marketing needs. This position will be presented with real?world business challenges, tasked to think critically and creatively while engaging with cross-functional partners, and learning from experienced marketing professionals. 1. Draft creative briefs and content calendar plans in support of Digital Channel's needs. 2. Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop creative, engaging social media content. 3. Gather product samples and any other needed materials for social media content creation. 4. Participate in social media photo- and video shoots, to assist as needed. 5. Assist Digital Marketing Manager by scheduling content and coordinating content production. 6. Building monthly reports and reports based on company needs. 7. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work. Job Qualifications Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field is required. Knowledge of marketing strategies, including continuing education of new marketing tactics and tools is required. Marketing experience on?or?off campus; either through part time jobs, academic clubs, or volunteer experiences is preferred. Experiences that demonstrate creative instinct, passion for marketing, deep consumer empathy, and passion for consumer brands is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex research into common language. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them is a plus. Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits. Ability to quickly learn and process information. Must have time management, planning and organizational skills. Strong analytical skill set with ability to find actionable, pragmatic solutions to complex problems. Physical Demand Requirements Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers to touch, pick or pinch objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. For all jobs no one should lift over 50lbs on their own. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
