Job Description

HR Generalist Primary responsibility for questions/administration of basic human resources functions for local staff, while elevating to HR Manager as necessary. System administrator and go to for company HRIS system Ultimate Software, which contains the entire employee life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance, payroll) and is the primary portal for all employee data. Will be a payroll back-up to main processor. Utilize/access Corporate provided resources and information portal (Intranet portal) related to all Human Resources processes and procedures and Ansay Employee Handbook. Administrative duties as needed employee engagement activities, hosting meetings, trainings, workshops, maintenance of supplies, etc. for the offices within the Region. Maintain the monthly communication meetings for Region. Interpret human resources policies utilizing Agency guidelines and established policies. Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention. Conduct weekly meetings to check in with each office, in person or via zoom. Facilitate the onboarding of new employees Designated employee point person for questions, guidance for each office. Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training Associate degree - Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years' experience in Accounting, Human Resources or General Business Desire to continue education and training Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with peers - internal and external Excellent communication skills: writing, speaking, presenting and listening Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions in the best interests of the agency Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
