Job Purpose Provide administrative support to Administrative Coordinator and faculty for the Political Science Department. Resume Cover letter Screenshot of confirmed Work Study Must be able to write clean and concise emails, be comfortable conversing with diverse populations including our admitted students, faculty, and alumni. Must also have strong verbal and organizational skills, and be extremely detail-oriented. Student must have some form of work study. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain commitment throughout the academic year. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication and administrative skills. Able to work independently. Duties And Responsibilities Various administrative duties to support the department including but not limited to: Update on content on department website Create flyers and posters Photocopying and scanning textbooks for faculty Managing files on Google Docs and Sheets Assisting faculty with any projects they require Responsibility Towards Diversity Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College. Schedule Part time and flexible schedule Based on student's availability during office hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Rate Of Pay $16.30 per hour Work Study Requirement Federal or L&C Work Study required Core Competencies Gained Through This Role Include Communication: Clearly and effectively exchange information with others through written, verbal, and non-verbal methods.
