In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to loan officers and lending staff. Responsible for preparing loan documentation, verifying applicant information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. This is an onsite position, offering the chance to work with local leadership and customers as an integral part of the Saline County Community. Qualifications | Education | Experience | Skills Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED is required. 1-3 years' banking preferred. Previous experience in general administration skills, which include keeping an office organized and running efficiently, is preferred. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key internet navigation required. Commitment to demonstrate Core 5 values with customers and coworkers. Hours of availability: Regularly scheduled hours/week: 40+| Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Extended working hours may be required. Essential duties and responsibilities: Prepare and review loan documentation for consumer, commercial, and real estate loans and serve as a liaison to ensure accurate exchange of information. Coordinate loan closings and ensure required documentation meets regulatory and audit standards. Facilitate communication between Loan Officers, customers, appraisers, attorneys, branch staff, title companies, insurance providers, and other third parties. Assist with administrative tasks such as file management, data entry, reporting, and ensuring loan files are in compliance. Maintain strict confidentiality to protect customer information and bank operations. Operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, copier, and develop proficiency with internal bank software, FCM/ImageCentre, and Loan Operations Platform will be required. Maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours when necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Physical demands: The employee must possess sufficient mobility to work in and move about in a standard office setting and sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Repetitive movement of the wrist, hands, and fingers may be required. Substantial time may be spent on the telephone, working on a computer, sitting and/or standing. The employee must have the ability to hear and articulate well enough to carry on a normal conversation, both in person and over telecommunications. Visual abilities required by this job include the ability to read materials in either a printed format or on a computer screen. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds. Mental demands: The duties of this position require the ability to maintain attention to detail and complete work projects accurately in a short amount of time, despite interruptions. The employee must be able to interact with customers/coworkers in a calm and patient manner and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. The employee must be able to use basic mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. The position also requires the ability to read and interpret documents, articulate detailed information, and draft routine written communications, instructions and/or presentations.
