Maintenance Planner Scheduler Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Planner Scheduler for our operations & maintenance team in Waukesha, WI! Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am 4:00 pm; various hours may be required based on business demand. The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating work planning and scheduling for services and equipment. This position will work with the Amentum team vendors, clients and management to provide work planning and scheduling. The Planner/Scheduler coordinates with our operations and maintenance management team in developing the scheduled maintenance activities and processes; pre-evaluates the need for replacement parts and works with crib personnel to place orders; and anticipates interruptions in plan and develops backup plans to minimize the impact on the facility's overall functionality or production schedule. Responsibilities: Maintaining professional and customer-oriented relationships with team members, internal and external customers and service providers, and building occupants. Inputting and editing data within the software program Maintaining files and is responsible for the records retention associated with the data entry. Complying with all company policies and procedures and adhering to company standards. Performing other job-related duties and special projects as requested. Supporting Amentum safety program. Participating in documenting and track of Root Cause analysis documentation timelines Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in industrial maintenance or computer science (equals 2 years of experience) or combination of education and 1 year experience in a maintenance related field. Additional Information: Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules. Physical Requirements: Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday. Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements: Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in a CMMS, such as Maximo, SAP, or an equivalent program. Preventive and/or Predictive maintenance planning experience. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Experience in creating presentations. Other Attributes: Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends. Compensation Details: $26 - $30 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
