This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, operating equipment, and playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly. Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using a forklift and tow motor. This position plays a critical role in supporting production by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Operate a forklift and tow motor safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks, verifying materials against shipping documents. Move raw materials to production areas and transport finished goods to designated storage areas. Supply production lines with necessary materials to prevent downtime. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Follow all company safety guidelines and operating procedures. Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 12 years of forklift and/or tow motor experience required. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to read and understand shipping documents and job orders. Basic math and inventory skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
