Trade Show & Events Coordinator Location: On-site San Marcos, CA Department: Marketing Status: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Travel: Approximately 23 times per year (~10%) Position Overview The Trade Show & Events Coordinator supports the marketing team in the planning, logistics, and execution of national and regional trade shows, distributor meetings, and industry events. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in event coordination who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate logistics for national and regional trade shows, including booth space, electrical needs, shipping, labor forms, and submission deadlines Communicate with show management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure exhibitor requirements are met Manage booth materials such as product displays, demo units, literature, promotional items, and signage Coordinate shipping of booth properties and marketing materials to and from event locations Track event calendars, timelines, and submission deadlines Assist with travel coordination for sales and marketing team members Support on-site setup and teardown activities when required Monitor event budgets and process invoices Collect, organize, and distribute event leads to sales teams for follow-up Assist with post-event reporting and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis Qualifications 23 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or administrative support Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and assist with booth materials Willingness to travel approximately 10% (23 times per year)
