Job Description

Management Analyst III - Civil CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst III (Finance) to support the Civil Division of DOJ in Washington, DC. This position is located in 1100 L Street, NW Washington DC 20005. Your future duties and responsibilities include: recording, reviewing, and reconciling financial transactions in more than one financial system; performing analysis and presenting findings in a clear manner; handling multiple assigned projects with the ability to prioritize; working in a team setting and performing independent work; displaying a high degree of communication; reviewing payments and obligations for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring that proper procedures are followed; troubleshooting issues with travelers, travel services, and JMD; processing obligations daily and ensuring data matches the information on the originating documents; reviewing open balances at least quarterly to de-obligate funds no longer needed; maintaining a lot of received vouchers and ensuring performance time frames are met; briefing DOJ officials on status of projects and work items; recording expenditures in Financial System of record; notifying employees of the status of their delinquent travel card accounts; and responding to inquiries on the status of reservation and travel related issues. Required qualifications to be successful in this role include: dedication to providing exceptional customer service; ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ waiver; strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct analysis and present findings clearly; ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently; exceptional communication skills; and attention to detail in reviewing payments and obligations for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Hourly Rate: $35.64/hour.
