AP Specialist $ 55000 - $ 60000 / Year Hamilton, New Jersey Accounting & Finance Contract to hire Job Summary We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced, global distribution environment. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring vendor invoices are accurate, properly approved, and paid on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with high volumes of invoices and data. In simple terms: you'll work with bills and payments, making sure money going out of the business is accurate and on time. Key Responsibilities Process full cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and entry Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments Reconcile accounts and assist with month end close activities Communicate with vendors regarding invoice questions and payment status Maintain accurate records and documentation Support accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed Must Have Qualifications Experience with full cycle accounts payable Proven experience with full cycle accounts receivable Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle NetSuite Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Background in a distribution or high volume environment Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year Search managed by: elena platt Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
