Job Description ProSidian seeks a OHS Project Analyst - Family Services Logistical Program Analyst headquartered near Washington, DC to support an engagement for an office within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) of the United States Government concerned with providing comprehensive child development services to low-income children ages birth to five years, help young children and their families to develop early reading, math, and social development skills needed to be successful in school. Office of Head Start programs promote school readiness by enhancing the cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and their families. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide planning, development, and implementation of a variety of initiatives, programs, and tasks aligned with the mission and goals of the Office of Head Start. OHS Project Analyst - Family Services Logistical Program Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for Management And Technical Crosscutting Activities (Time And Materials (T&M)) [For Activities Related To General And Cross-Cutting Support] and function as a full-time, high-level subject matter expert in the areas of analysis, data collection, report writing, and various related topics. The Project Analyst will also plan and support initiatives, provide practical knowledge of highly specialized tasks, and provide advice and consultation on issues which require extensive knowledge of the areas mentioned above. Responsibilities include, but not be limited to, the following: Assist senior staff members in logical analyses on programs and procedures; Support comprehensive analyses of business application concepts and designs, compiles, analyzes, and evaluates customer and/or contractor generated source data; Assist in the development of project plans, guidelines, and controls; Provide a high-level of consulting services to the OHS. Provide data collection and analysis services in the areas of child development, family services, education, health, nutrition, natural disaster response, and more; Work with fellow team members to analyze and improve initiatives to support the mission and goals of the OHS. Qualifications The OHS Project Analyst - Family Services Logistical Program Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined. B.A. or B.S. degree with at least 4 years' experience performing management (program) analysis. Experience working with family services, child development, education, health and nutrition, disaster rebuilding and support, and/or related area of expertise strongly preferred; Problem solving and initiative taking skills; Excellent writing and editing skills; The ability to prepare and deliver presentations; The ability to work with a large team; Proficiency in MS Office; Demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision and interest and commitment to international development. TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Washington, DC U.S. Citizenship Required Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe) All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" (also referred to as an "Employment Authorization") by the USG's designated Security Office.
