Apply your experience working with individuals on the road to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction at BHN! Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the Springfield Center program at Behavioral Health Network! Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Springfield Center program with the following: Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals served. Providing support and guidance as a role model to others, as needed. Providing direct supervision to Recovery Specialist staff at Springfield Center. Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed. Assisting in staff selection, resolving personnel issues, and scheduling and coaching/counseling of employees. Facilitating the development and implementation of educational programs, as needed. Conducting routine facility checks to report any program-specific safety and maintenance concerns. Completing program specific forms, documentation, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record in a timely and thorough manner. Completing individually assigned responsibilities, such as room checks, house laundry, etc. Reporting directly to the Program Director of the Connections program. The diverse experienced team at Springfield Center provides a variety of services including individual and group counseling, and medical and mental health referrals, among others. Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration (required). High School Diploma or equivalent (required). At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required). At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred). Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders. CNA, LADC II or LADC III (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Assistants) or equivalent (preferred). Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).
