Summary Responsible for supporting the operational and business needs of the Employee Benefits department. This role provides day-to-day support to the larger Southeast EB team and local operating group leadership. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Works in the office as the first line of support for our Alliant EB team. Assists Client Services with client deliverables; works with client team to review, format, and produce printed collateral for in person meetings. Reviews, updates, and ensures the accuracy of Employee Benefits platforms utilized for client account management (BenefitPoint, EPIC, Client Central, share-drives). Responds to and triages questions about the Employee Benefits practice via phone. Oversees departmental meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, drafting meeting notes, catering, and ensuring completion of all action items. First point of contact for escalating facilities and operations issues, helps keep office on track and running smoothly by ensuring necessary supplies and solving office needs. Conducts routine audits, reports on results and makes recommendations for improving processes. Creates reports, analyzes and summarizes data; complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information); Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education / Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience One (1) or more years of related work experience in benefits consulting firm or insurance carrier Project management experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills Self-starter with strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills Strong detail orientation Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to hold team members of all levels accountable to meeting agreed upon deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel at the expert level Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
