Procurement Analyst 2 With guidance and oversight from Supply Chain leadership, the Supply Chain Sourcing strategist leads procurement activities and drives sourcing strategies across ASU's departments. This role analyzes supply chain data, develops and executes sourcing strategies, reports on supplier metrics and manages supplier performance. This role engages and collaborates across departments to understand their business and research needs, gather requirements, create solutions that meet the department's needs. This role aligns with departments on sourcing and supplier decisions. $57,000 - $61,000 per year; DOE Essential Duties: Lead departments across ASU through the procurement process in accordance with Arizona Board of Regents ("ABOR") guidelines Analyze procurement and supply chain data to create value opportunities in assigned categories Perform data analytics to identify risks, value and cost savings, and strategic sourcing opportunities for spend areas Engages and collaborates with partners across departments to develop supply chain strategies and strategic sourcing initiatives that align with business requirements Lead contract negotiations to optimize value and mitigate risk Negotiate pricing and contract terms by coordinating with legal, finance and department stakeholders Lead supplier performance management and monitor contract compliance for quality, cost, delivery, service Seeks to learn ASU's department business needs to effectively source and select suppliers that meet ASU's needs Demonstrate curiosity to learn, enhance Desired Qualifications: Experience in public procurement, sourcing and procurement, process automation, supply chain technology systems and AI. Experience in forecasting, demand planning systems. Experience in supplier performance management. Working Environment: This role is located in ASU's Tempe, AZ. The environment is in an office setting in various campus buildings and athletic facilities. The role cannot typically be done remotely.
