Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Texas Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential speech-language services within a school environment. This full-time, onsite role supports students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, contributing to their communication development and academic success. Location: Spring, TX (Southwest Houston area)Position Type: Full-time, Contract (ASAP June 4, 2026)Setting: Onsite at a public elementary school (no virtual option) Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language support to students following individualized plans under supervision Collaborate with educators and specialists to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Adhere to district policies and professional standards Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members Qualifications / Desired Experience: Active Texas SLPA license (fully licensed, no interns, and no additional clinical hours required) Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Southwest Houston locations Dependable, punctual, with strong communication skills Ability to pass a drug screening and complete fingerprint/background check within the first three days of contract signing Benefits and Perks: Gain valuable experience in a public school environment Work closely with licensed SLP supervisors to further develop clinical skills Support diverse student populations in a meaningful role Interested candidates should be prepared to provide the following upon application: a current resume, a screenshot of an active Texas SLPA license, and confirmation of onboarding readiness including fingerprint/background check compliance.
