Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Civil Facility Construction Inspector to join our team in Orange and Rockland counties, New York. The ideal candidate will oversee the construction and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The preferred candidate should have the ability to read and understand blueprints. Commercial construction experience is preferred. OSHA 10 is required, OSHA 30 preferred. This is a great opportunity for someone to influence the construction and renovations of both facilities and utility infrastructure. The client preferred applicants' commute to be less than 2 hours. There is no per diem with this position; therefore, you must live within the preferred commute or be willing to relocate. Responsibilities: • Inspect construction projects, both buildings and infrastructure. • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction. • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets specifications. • Be a transformational leader, positively influencing individuals and teams. Qualifications: • Experience with excavation, concrete, and civil construction required. • Experience in gas and electric facility construction is preferred, but not required. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction. • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. • OSHA 30 and 10 certifications are preferred.
