Description: Job Title: Lead Technician (Primary Service Vehicle Driver) Reports to: Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator Employment type: Seasonal / Per Diem Estimated Pay Range: $25.00-$28.00 This position starts as a 'lead technician in training'. Position Description: At JMC Enterprises, we specialize in removing snow and ice from tractor trailers, ensuring drivers remain safe on the road. As a Lead Technician, you will perform essential snow and ice removal tasks, drive the service vehicle, and support a small team to uphold safety and service standards. This position suits individuals who appreciate physical work, enjoy driving, and are excited about traveling to new locations. Responsibilities include: Leading a team of technicians in removing snow and ice from tractor trailer tops. Driving the service vehicle while overseeing safety and quality service. Traveling to different sites and managing team documentation accurately. Rotating tasks for trailers and recording completed services digitally. Foster respect and support in the workplace by engaging in constructive conversations. Requirements: This is a seasonal/per diem position, requiring outdoor work in cold weather. Open availability during snowstorms and a few days after is necessary. Qualifications: Must be 21+ years old (required for driving service vehicles). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (DMV check required). CDL is a plus but not necessary. Comfortable driving in adverse weather conditions. Experience with manual labor, ladders, and outdoor work in cold conditions. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Able to work independently while overseeing a team without direct supervision. Comfortable working at heights using ladders. Physically fit and capable of safely performing job duties, including lifting at least 40 lbs. Maintain a positive attitude, especially in difficult situations. Reliable smartphone for clocking in/out and documenting services.
