We are seeking an ambitious Accounts Receivable Coordinator to enhance our team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work 2-3 days per week from a Cherry Bekaert office. Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator: Oversee a designated portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue balances. Document all client communications and follow-up actions accurately in our collections system. Create and distribute client statements, reminder notices, and follow-up emails utilizing approved templates. Review customer payments for discrepancies and collaborate with Billing/Finance to rectify any errors. Conduct account research, including payment history reviews and statement reconciliations. Track aging reports and adhere to our established workflow activities for collections. Escalate unresolved issues and complex discrepancies to the Senior Collections Coordinator or Collections Manager. Prepare weekly portfolio updates to share during team meetings. Submit invoices or necessary documentation through client portals while maintaining required records. Collaborate with Engagement Teams to obtain missing information, PO numbers, billing clarifications, or approvals. Ensure all documentation is organized and prepared for audits in compliance with internal controls. Identify minor inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements for better workflow. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team. What You Bring to the Role: A High School Diploma. A minimum of 1 year of experience in collections and/or accounts receivable, preferably in a professional services or multi-entity environment. The hourly pay for this position ranges from $18.00 to $28.00. Individual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
