What You Will Do The BDC Support Supervisor will be the go-to expert responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control within the Bulk Distribution Center. In this role, you will serve as the main liaison for BDC/Lowes leadership while mentoring and guiding the BDC Clerk team. Your responsibilities will encompass inventory oversight, quality control, addressing immediate challenges, managing special projects, and maintaining strong relationships with our third-party logistics partners. Your key responsibilities include: Conduct daily debriefs with BDC Clerks to provide and gather status updates, promptly addressing voicemails, emails, and any emerging issues. Monitor daily inventory snapshots and resolve any discrepancies through detailed research. Email vendor RRAs and coordinate all necessary DC to DC RRAs. Analyze and address issues reported in the Holding Account Report & Weekly Balance. Collaborate with the 3PL and BDC Clerk teams to improve SOS performance and provide constructive feedback to management. Exemplify exceptional customer service by addressing escalated inquiries from the 3PL BDC leadership team and responding to store leadership regarding customer special orders. Drive initiatives for damage reduction by reviewing feedback from the BDC/Stores and managing scratch & dent classifications to optimize inventory returns. Prepare and dispatch weekly reporting correspondence while coordinating with business partners on any exceptions. Support Pro Order Management by providing consistent weekly updates on open orders. Conduct workshops on inventory snapshots and hold bi-weekly inventory calls with operations managers. Facilitate weekly discussions with the 3PL BDC General Manager and Operations Manager to identify improvement opportunities. Travel to the BDC as needed for meetings or collaboration efforts. Provide continuous feedback to the 3PL BDC management team on improvements and opportunities for network development and special projects. Ensure adherence to CTPAT rules, processing exceptions in a timely manner. Monitor service channel requests and escalate issues as necessary. Conduct system testing for onboarding new XDTs. Aid BDCs in preparing for physical inventories by coordinating procedures and reconciling results with corporate accounting. Work with the BDC Operations Manager to create an annual BDC Support Action Plan. Build relationships with store teams and coordinate visits with BDC leadership. What You Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED combined with 4 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree together with 3 years of relevant experience.
