W2 Key Responsibilities: Craft and distribute press releases via news distribution platforms, email services, and science news outlets. Establish and oversee communication content production workflows to guarantee timely delivery and maintain high-quality standards. Track and analyze media coverage reports, providing insights for internal awareness and promotion. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing communication activities using both qualitative and quantitative metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific basis. Support various external communications efforts, including social media campaigns, journalist outreach, event communications, and media correspondence. Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, media management, or project coordination. Strong project management skills and a keen attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with email distribution tools and basic HTML is a plus. Prior experience with media monitoring and reporting tools is advantageous. Knowledge of scientific or nonprofit communications is preferred. Ability to contribute collaboratively in a dynamic team setting is important. Familiarity with scientific journal publishing is beneficial.
