The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst in our National Passthrough Transactions Group (PTG). This role is crucial for engaging in a variety of challenging projects and delivering top-notch tax planning services to our extensive client base. Your Key Responsibilities Provide expert tax advisory services on joint venture and partnership tax issues, covering acquisition, formation, operation, restructuring, and disposition matters. Develop comprehensive financial models to estimate the various outcomes associated with specific deal structures and industry segments. Apply your deep understanding of complex tax concepts and partnership tax skills to address client needs effectively. Deliver high-quality, timely support to meet our clients' critical business requirements. Enhance your technical expertise through engagement with recognized tax professionals. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment of team tasks with individual skills and growth objectives. Maintain professionalism with a cooperative attitude while safeguarding the confidentiality of client relationships and sensitive materials. Skills and Attributes for Success To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree in a similar field along with over two years of experience. Strong quantitative skills focused on accounting and corporate finance. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to create flexible financial models from scratch. Familiarity with federal income taxation. A willingness to learn and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with clients. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment. Ideally, you'll also have: CPA certification, which is essential for career advancement. Experience in modeling tax transactions. Experience with partnership taxation issues. A background in client-facing roles. The base salary range for this position across the US is $119,500 to $197,100, with specific ranges for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California being $143,300 to $224,000. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Additionally, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and various paid time off options. We promote a hybrid work model, where we expect team members in external client roles to collaborate in person about 40-60% of the time throughout the engagement.
