Property Maintenance Technician Level II or III at Marsden Services, L.L.C. Shifts: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Full Time, 40 hours per week. Location: St. Paul MN Join our dedicated team at Marsden Services! We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who is committed to maintaining high standards of property management. If you have a passion for maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! Job Duties: Perform a wide range of maintenance duties including equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure properties meet our established quality standards and comply with relevant laws. Schedule, prioritize, and complete work orders promptly (within 48 hours). Conduct basic repairs related to HVAC, electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, and appliances. Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of building facilities and equipment. Carry out all site-level preventative maintenance inspections and tasks as assigned. Prepare vacant units for new residents as needed. Collaborate effectively with vendor teams on maintenance projects. Maintain an organized workshop and adequate inventory of hand tools, parts, and supplies. Provide excellent customer service with residents, vendors, and fellow employees. Be available for on-call emergency maintenance services as scheduled. Assist in training and mentoring new maintenance technicians. Stay updated by attending relevant training courses and keeping certifications current. Adhere to all company and customer safety protocols and actively contribute to promoting a safe workplace. Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent movement, including kneeling, lifting, and transferring objects. Regular lifting capability of more than 20 lbs., and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. with assistance. Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces, and able to tolerate dust, gas fumes, and noise. Experienced in handling tools and supplies safely, including those with sharp edges. High school graduate or equivalent, with a valid Licensed Pool Operator certification. 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of four years of experience in multi-family or commercial building maintenance is preferred. Intermediate computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office products and manage work through an internet-based system. All boiler license levels accepted; additional certifications are a plus. Must provide your own hand tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, utility knives, and more. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
