Part-Time Optometrist 1 Visit Monthly The MedServ Group Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit). The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice dedicated to delivering exceptional care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. We are actively looking for a skilled Optometrist to join our enthusiastic team. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to provide unparalleled care to our elderly patients. The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate, and passionate about enhancing the healthcare experience for seniors. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye examinations. Diagnose and manage treatment for ocular diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses and relevant eye medications as required. Deliver pre and post-operative care for surgical patients. Promote healthy vision through patient education and counseling. Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and a valid state license. Strong communication skills to interact with diverse patient personalities. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. High standards of professionalism and ethics in the workplace. Customer service-oriented with outstanding interpersonal skills. Additional Information: Commit to 7-8 hours for patient visits, plus necessary paperwork. Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible scheduling options available. See approximately 22-25 patients per visit, focusing on preventative care.
