Opportunity Overview As a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain Manufacturing and Operational Excellence, you'll leverage your expertise to enhance our clients' global business performance. You will collaborate with high-performing teams and drive manufacturing strategy—including cost optimization and operations performance. In this role, you will be pivotal in establishing, optimizing, and transforming manufacturing functions. You will design and implement core productivity processes, utilize digital solutions, and drive plant transformation to boost asset productivity and agility. Your Key Responsibilities Deliver excellence in manufacturing transformation within the practice and the firm. Work with high-level client personnel and operational teams to assess, coach, and implement leading capabilities and technologies in manufacturing. Primarily billable to external clients. Define and execute project deliverables, while monitoring completion and project status. Skills and Attributes for Success Strong technical capabilities in manufacturing, with experience in Integrated Work Systems (IWS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies. Expertise in process engineering, including loss analysis and reliability engineering analytics. Familiarity with MES systems and other digitally enabled manufacturing technologies. Demonstrated performance improvement on KPIs like OEE, MTBF, and downtime reduction. A track record of delivering quality work within time and budget constraints, managing risk and keeping clients informed. Experience in building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Expertise in digital manufacturing and emerging technologies. Strategic mindset with an understanding of supply chain sustainability. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree, or extensive manufacturing experience. 2 - 4 years of experience in a manufacturing consulting role. Proven expertise in improving manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction. Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time. Ability to build and manage relationships effectively. Experience working in a hybrid team environment. Ideally, You Will Also Have Experience mentoring junior colleagues. Support in RFP responses and service opportunities. Ability to oversee engagement economic reports and manage budgets. Extensive background in implementing improvements like IWS and Lean. Familiarity with manufacturing systems and simulation modeling. Experience in high-speed consumer goods or food and beverage sectors.
