Department/Unit: Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) - D5N Work Shift: Night Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60 Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse III and play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment for neurological conditions. The D5N unit features a comprehensive 21 bed neurosciences unit where you will care for patients with a variety of neurological diagnoses, including strokes, brain tumors, and seizure disorders. The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit provides specialized care for patients undergoing continuous EEG monitoring that helps guide treatment options. Work collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that prioritize patient well-being. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician orders and administer medications with precision while documenting care in compliance with regulations. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to treatment. Deliver primary and emergency care as necessary for both occupational and non-occupational health issues. Collaborate with nursing teams to create and update tailored Plans of Care for all patients. Provide guidance and leadership to ancillary personnel to uphold professional nursing standards. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree). Current valid NYS Registered Nurse license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required. A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience is essential, with at least 1 year in Telemetry or ICU.
