POSITION SUMMARY Our Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities include: Evaluating patients' medical and mental health requirements and developing a tailored care plan that proactively manages their conditions and overcomes barriers to care Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations pertinent to your clinical services Prescribing medications and arranging lab tests, diagnostic procedures, and consultations Monitoring patient compliance and responses to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Valid APRN or PA license Degree from an accredited APRN or PA program A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nursing or rehabilitation with geriatric populations, preferably in a Fee for Service environment Experience with Electronic Health Records Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May involve providing training and guidance to facility staff EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Our organization does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
