The Role As a Software Developer II, you will collaborate within a dynamic team to design, develop, test, and support automation systems, account-domain services, and cloud data platforms that address moderate to high complexity challenges. You will play an essential role in enhancing account and customer domain functions, ensuring data reliability, automation, and the development of AI-ready data pipelines that support our enterprise modernization initiatives. This position is vital in supporting modernization efforts, cloud data migration, and ensuring operational stability across our North American systems. Location This is a Work From Home position available throughout the US. Applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents/Green Card holders to be considered. Main Responsibilities Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software solutions that support data-driven domains, focusing on account and customer data. Create and manage automation scripts for data migrations, payload generation, fallout handling, and processes for reconciliation. Build and support data integration pipelines connecting source systems, downstream applications, and cloud platforms to ensure data accuracy. Establish monitoring and reconciliation frameworks, as well as audit controls, to enhance reliability and SLA compliance. Utilize Apache Spark and Databricks for substantial data processing and modernization efforts. Support event-driven architectures with Kafka for real-time data publishing and integration. Contribute to AI and analytics initiatives, ensuring data pipelines are aligned with governance standards for streamlined insights. Engage in design reviews and collaborative sessions to maintain technical excellence. Provide on-call support for critical data hubs and account-domain processes as needed. Document technical processes and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams. Candidate Qualifications At least 3 years of professional software development experience. Experience working with enterprise systems and data integrations in account/customer domains. Proficient in Data Engineering and Databases, especially PostgreSQL (queries, migrations, performance tuning) and ETL concepts. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting for automation and data processing tasks. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and distributed data processing solutions. Experience with Kafka or similar event-driven architectures, including Kafka Connect and JDBC connectors. Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure, particularly Azure (AKS), and cloud networking principles. Proficient in Java and Spring Boot for developing web services and REST APIs. Knowledge of AI-ready data pipelines, metadata governance, and analytical enablement. Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub, including understanding of basic DevOps and agile methodologies. Ability to design reconciliation, monitoring, and audit frameworks for enterprise systems. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a focus on documentation and technical walkthroughs. Experience with Informatica is a plus. Compensation This position offers a competitive salary based on current national data, with variations depending on location and individual qualifications. The salary varies by state: $67,703 - $90,270 in states such as AL, AR, AZ, and others. $71,088 - $94,784 in states including CO, HI, MI, and others. $74,474 - $99,297 in states like AK, CA, CT, and others.
