Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Zionsville, IN Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Zionsville, Indiana, 46077! We are seeking a skilled Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for an exciting 120-day assignment in Indiana, commencing May 4, 2026. This role involves a mix of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts, with weekend rounding, primarily focusing on outpatient care. The on-call physician will manage new hospital consults, while nurse practitioners round on existing patients, ensuring comprehensive patient management for approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a primary focus on outpatient care. Handle new consults at the hospital when on-call. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners who round on existing patients. Evaluate and assign new consults to the on-call provider once assessed. Manage a caseload of approximately 70% Oncology cases. Manage approximately 30% Hematology cases, primarily benign. Conduct rounding on Saturdays and/or Sundays as required. Additional Information Board Certification: Medical Oncology. EMR: Cerner.
