In this role, you will lead and mentor a diverse housekeeping team in collaboration with the Manager of Housekeeping, guaranteeing compliance with company policies, health regulations, and industry standards. Essential Duties Train and coach a diverse team of housekeeping staff to achieve excellence Provide team members with the skills and resources necessary for success Model and enforce housekeeping standards including OSHA and safety protocols Conduct inspections to evaluate and ensure the highest physical standards of the establishment Document inspections to facilitate corrective actions and acknowledge outstanding performance Research and implement eco-friendly cleaning initiatives and products Effectively manage inventory and ordering of equipment and supplies Communicate efficiently with the Front Desk regarding guest requests and room assignments Uphold uniform and appearance standards among housekeeping staff Assist with room attendant duties as needed and participate in deep cleaning during off-seasons Exemplify Winter Park Resort's core values and ensure adherence to all policies Required Qualifications Strong integrity and honesty in all actions Ability to handle confidential information securely Professional appearance and demeanor Supportive of our mission and values Highly organized with effective multitasking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexible work schedule based on resort needs Dedication to delivering exceptional guest service Strong knowledge of resort products and services Education Requirements A High School Diploma or GED is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and moderate computer skills are preferred. Experience Preferred is a minimum of two years of related experience, particularly in a Mountain Resort Lodging Property. Knowledge of property management systems such as Springer-Miller Systems (SMS) or Kronos is advantageous. Wage The hourly pay range for this role is $21.46, subject to variation based on experience and qualifications.
