Job Description Summary: The Senior Benefits Consultant plays a vital role in creating and managing innovative global and local benefit programs that enhance the employee experience. This position is dedicated to supporting the design, administration, and analysis of Americas' and global benefit offerings, aligning them with our comprehensive total rewards philosophy. With a focus on operational excellence, compliance, and data-driven insights, you will ensure competitive and cost-effective benefits for our employees. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to maintain efficient systems, address employee inquiries, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee health and welfare benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance), ensuring proper enrollment and eligibility. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA) while supporting audits. Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve issues, monitor service levels, and maintain accurate data exchanges. Analyze claims, utilization, and cost trends, preparing insightful reports and dashboards for leadership. Benchmark benefits against industry standards and provide recommendations for program improvements. Create engaging employee communications to enhance understanding and participation in benefits programs. Address escalated employee inquiries and provide guidance on complex benefit matters. Work alongside HRIS and IT teams to optimize benefits systems and enhance self-service tools. Support wellness initiatives and contribute to global benefits projects as needed. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline administration and elevate the employee experience. Required Qualifications: 4-6 years of experience in benefits administration or analysis. Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance mandates. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with the ability to convert data into practical insights. Experience with HR systems (Workday or similar) and benefits administration platforms. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; adept at managing multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certification (CEBS or similar) preferred. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Prior experience with mergers & acquisitions and benefits harmonization. Strong communication and presentation capabilities. Workday (or similar HR System) experience. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with a range of software and benefit administration systems. Certification in benefits or rewards remuneration or a degree in business, tax, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience with compensation and global mobility is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Communication, or Liberal Arts. Information Security: At Rocket Software, information security is a shared responsibility.
