Job Description Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as a Senior Program Manager for Data Center Infrastructure Development The Data Center Infrastructure team at OCI is leading the charge in creating advanced GigaScale data centers with unmatched speed and efficiency. Our dedicated team of seasoned project and program managers works in concert with both internal teams and external partners to oversee intricate builds, propelling OCI's capacity growth and ensuring sustainable success. About the Role: As a Senior Program Manager for Data Center Infrastructure Development, you will take charge of the entire delivery process for OCI data center capacity, right from the initial project conception to GPU handover. You will be instrumental in navigating a matrixed environment, fostering outcomes that are predictable, repeatable, and scalable. Your efforts will support OCI's regional launches, capacity expansions, and strategic infrastructure commitments. This influential role necessitates active collaboration with various OCI partner teams, including Site Acquisition, WAN, Energy, Design, Engineering, Construction, Telecommunications, Commissioning, Security, and Operations. Responsibilities Lead comprehensive project management and strategy, ensuring that objectives are achieved through effective project delivery. Act as the primary coordinator across matrixed OCI teams, including Site Acquisition, Energy, WAN, Design, EHS, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Telecommunications, Security, and Operations. Oversee project delivery milestones to guarantee alignment with OCI’s capacity planning, regional launch schedules, and service availability commitments. Develop and implement long-term strategies for campus master planning in data center construction and network initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Manage complex data center development projects throughout their lifecycle, guaranteeing they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Effectively manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation while adhering to financial guidelines. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on project timelines and costs. Ensure clear and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders, keeping them updated on project status and addressing any concerns. Conduct regular site visits to monitor adherence to schedules and facilitate coordination among teams. Required Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in a dynamic environment. Thorough understanding of data center design, delivery, and operational requirements, with a focus on advanced technologies and sustainability. Extensive experience managing large-scale data center projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budgets and advanced scheduling. Proven leadership capabilities to guide a diverse team under pressure, fostering clarity and driving results while maintaining alignment across organizations. Expertise in budget management, including creation, oversight, and optimization of resource utilization. Ability to assess risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Exceptional communication and engagement skills, particularly in interactions with executive-level stakeholders. 8+ years of experience in program management, data center construction, or network engineering. Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic, flexible, matrixed organizational environment. 10+ years of experience delivering large, complex infrastructure programs, preferably in hyperscale cloud or mission-critical data center settings. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in delivering cloud infrastructure capacity for a hyperscaler or global service provider. Deep subject matter expertise in mechanical, electrical, networking, construction, or building automation systems. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is advantageous. The salary range for this position is between $120,100 to $251,600 annually. Bonus, equity, and compensation deferral may be available.
