KPMG is excited to offer an opportunity for an Associate Data Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This position allows for a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain data governance tasks, focusing on standards development, metadata management, and comprehensive reporting. Document data interfaces and mappings, while analyzing and interpreting various data sets. Develop detailed business and technical requirement documents. Support the Data Strategy & Operations leadership team in ensuring efficient operations within the data organization. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that transcend departmental boundaries and enhance organizational efficiency. Collaborate with project managers to create realistic project plans, oversee team task execution, and secure stakeholder acceptance for project outcomes. Exemplify integrity and professionalism, contributing positively to KPMG's respectful work environment. Qualifications: At least one year of recent experience working with data, including sourcing, analysis, and integration. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in statistical analysis and proficiency in supporting IT projects, particularly with the Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving, organizational, and judgment skills to support a collaborative and customer-focused environment. Capability to build effective relationships with peers while maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information. This role may involve working in the office, at client locations, or remotely based on business needs; client site responsibilities may require travel and overnight stays.
