The Opportunity Ally work locations are in Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC. This position requires working in the office with a hybrid schedule. In the role of Senior Data Analyst, reporting to the CX Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with fellow analysts and stakeholders to generate performance, control, and fulfillment reports. Your analytical work will support the Complaints team in managing customer issues across various services, including Invest, Wealth, Deposits, and Auto Dealer services. In this dynamic role, you will help shape how Ally utilizes data. You will be responsible for establishing routine reporting processes, leading complex analyses, optimizing data workflows, and collaborating across departments to provide insights that enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering results, eager to innovate, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at identifying key insights within vast amounts of data. The Work Itself Utilize your business acumen and data interpretation skills to provide insightful reports and analyses that elevate the customer experience and drive innovation at Ally. Maintain and generate business intelligence reports while identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and usability of reporting processes and tools. Lead analytical initiatives using advanced technical skills in response to stakeholder requests and strategic goals. Employ creative problem-solving and innovative thinking to tackle business inquiries effectively. Mentor other analysts in the design, development, and updating of business intelligence platforms. Work closely with leadership, development teams, product owners, training teams, data engineers, and other partners on data-related projects. Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure high-quality data management through proper documentation of completed work. Support data submissions for both internal and external audit requirements. The Skills You Bring Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in analytics-based roles for 3+ years. Proficiency in SQL coding, with at least 2 years of experience; exposure to Python or R is a plus. Hands-on experience with data architecture and analysis across various domains, including Complaint Management, Contact Center Performance, and Customer Experience. Familiarity with Snowflake data architecture and relational database principles is preferred. Exposure to Salesforce CRM data management, specifically with customer, case, or workflow data. Experience managing large data sets using tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Excel, and business intelligence software like Power BI or Tableau. Strong background in statistical analysis techniques, such as clustering and regression analysis. Ability to convert data into strategic business recommendations that effectively influence stakeholder decisions. Experience working on intricate projects across various teams and effectively collaborating with differing levels of leadership. Base Pay Range: This role's salary is determined by responsibilities, work experience, education, and skills, among other factors. We consider internal equity, market trends, and business conditions in our offers. Emerging: 85000 Experienced: 117500 Expert: 150000 This position is also eligible for our annual incentive plan.
