This dynamic position requires you to operate advanced equipment, execute detailed survey scopes, and meticulously document data to ensure project deliverables align with our high company standards and client expectations. This is a full-time role with variable hours that may fluctuate based on project demands and seasonal trends. Expect busy periods with heavy workloads, but also the possibility of reduced scheduling during slower periods—no minimum hours are guaranteed. Essential Responsibilities: Travel & Logistics: Engage in extended travel assignments, generally lasting from 1 to 8 weeks, to various domestic and international locations. Follow company travel policies regarding transportation, accommodations, and per diem allowances. Be prepared for frequent schedule adjustments, including last-minute deployments. Data Acquisition & Survey Execution: Utilize cutting-edge equipment, such as 3D cameras, 360° cameras, drones, and laser scanners. Implement specific Scopes of Work (SOW) with accuracy, ensuring all data collected meets quality and accuracy benchmarks. Carry out on-site measurements, surveys, and MEP asset documentation, making necessary revisions to project files. Communication & Coordination: Maintain professional communication with Operations Coordinators, Project Managers, clients, and team members. Provide timely updates on project status, escalate any issues encountered on-site, and ensure alignment with project goals. Present a professional image of the company in all client-facing interactions. Data Management: Efficiently upload, process, and organize captured data according to company protocols. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data completeness and accuracy before submission. Integrate deliverables into project management systems for thorough internal and client review. Equipment & Safety: Safely transport, operate, and maintain all company equipment, including drones, scanners, and related tools. Adhere to OSHA safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and site-specific hazard protocols. Work in elevated areas or confined spaces as required by project scope. Report any equipment damage or malfunction to supervisors immediately. Follow FAA regulations for drone operation and client or site-specific safety standards. Required Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age (due to extensive travel and vehicle rental requirements). Possess a valid U.S. driver's license and demonstrate the ability to safely operate personal and rental vehicles. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs of equipment regularly. Physically capable of working long hours on-site, including standing, bending, and navigating confined or elevated spaces. Able to safely climb ladders and scaffolding, adhering to OSHA standards. Willing to work in different environments, such as construction zones and industrial sites. Flexibility for frequent and extended travel assignments ranging from 1-8 weeks. FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification—though not mandatory upon hire, employees must obtain this certification within a timeframe established by Ingenium Imaging Solutions, with training and resources provided to assist them. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with surveying and terrestrial laser scanning or similar data capture technologies. A strong technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, or computer systems. FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License (preferred, but not mandatory). A valid U.S. passport for potential international assignments. Multilingual language skills (e.g., Spanish) are considered an asset. Position Details: Position Title: Field Service Technician Onsite Hourly Rate: $23.00 Driving/Travel Hourly Rate: $15.00 Per Diem: $55/day in most regions Benefits: Holiday Pay: 8 hours for the following observed holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, New Year's Day. Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive plans with 10% of premiums covered by the company. Retirement Plan (401k): Eligible employees receive a 2% employer match to their contributions. Paid Time Off (PTO): 7 days of PTO annually, in addition to paid major holidays. Additional Information: While this full-time position comes with benefits, Ingenium cannot guarantee a minimum of 40 hours per week during periods of low project volume. Work Environment: Due to the nature of our field operations, remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
