Our expertise lies in assisting customers to maximize their Oracle investments and effectively utilize other clouds or on-premise infrastructures, with a strong focus on creating highly distributed, scalable, and resilient Multicloud solutions tailored to their unique business needs. We are searching for experienced and passionate engineers who thrive on tackling complex challenges in various domains of cloud service software engineering, particularly in networking, high-scale distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, observability, and user experience. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking dual-stack Software/Network Development Engineers with a proven track record in building robust control plane components for public cloud services. If you excel in designing and launching major features into production, have experience operating high-scale public cloud services, and possess deep knowledge of control plane architecture, we want to hear from you. You will play a significant role in designing essential service components, collaborating effectively with engineering managers and TPMs, while also mentoring junior team members. Your capacity to transition from high-level system design and architectural documentation to hands-on prototyping, code reviews, and project initiation will be crucial in this role. Your technical proficiency will enable you to balance speed and quality while implementing incremental improvements. Your contributions will simplify the lives of fellow developers and inspire your teams to enhance processes and services through automation and instrumentation. A commitment to operational excellence and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction are vital. Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities Qualifications: 10 to 15 years of experience in distributed service engineering within a software development environment. 6 to 10 years of experience in datacenter networking. In-depth expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures. Development experience in modern programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#. Proven experience in designing, developing, and managing public cloud service control planes. Strong understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development in a cloud environment. Experience collaborating with architects, principals, and product and program managers to deliver high-quality product features on schedule. Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals. Understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies. Good understanding of Linux or a desire to learn. Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship skills. Preferred Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science or a related field (MS preferred). Hands-on experience developing services on major public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience managing security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and collaborating with Product Managers from inception to launch. Familiarity with multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers. Experience in building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with strong testing and deployment schedules. Knowledge of compliance and auditing frameworks such as FedRAMP or PCI DSS. Expertise in threat modeling and risk identification techniques to develop effective security solutions. Please note: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may require compliance with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. Salary and Benefits: The hiring range for this position is from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. Candidates may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
