Pharmaceutical Sales Associate

Position Summary: Create an exceptional customer experience by delivering outstanding service. Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment to encourage repeat business. Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while adhering to quality assurance standards. Uphold the values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Responsibilities: Foster an atmosphere where customers feel welcomed and valued by answering their questions about products in the department and store. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products sold, allowing for informed responses to inquiries and effective recommendations. Provide product samples to help customers explore new offerings and make informed choices. Inform customers about department specials to enhance their shopping experience. Encourage customers to consider Drug GM items to fulfill their needs. Monitor product freshness by reviewing expiration dates and taking appropriate action as needed. Label, stock, and manage department inventory efficiently. Report any product ordering or shipping discrepancies to the department manager. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while engaging with customers and team members. Stay updated on current events, future promotions, seasonal offerings, and special advertisements. Promote safety by complying with established procedures and identifying unsafe conditions for management awareness. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, reporting any repair needs to the appropriate personnel. Alert management to any customer or employee accidents that occur. Report safety risks, illegal activities, including theft or fraud, to management. Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating composure under pressure. Resolve conflicts in a constructive manner, promoting cooperative interactions. Act with integrity regarding customer and business information. Follow directions accurately and seek assistance when needed to address issues. Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Previous retail experience. Ability to manage stressful situations effectively. Strong communication skills.
