What You Will Do Join our innovative SaaS Continuity Engineering team and take on a pivotal role in designing and building systems that ensure unmatched availability and performance for Oracle's SaaS services. Focused on high-availability and service continuity solutions, your work will encompass infrastructure, database, platform, and application services along with all interconnected components. Lead the development of revolutionary service continuity solutions in a fast-paced environment, ensuring our SaaS services are resilient and consistently available. Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to architect and implement services within a distributed computing environment. Your technical expertise will guide the architectural direction of our service continuity solutions, influence product strategy, and develop next-gen availability features for Oracle's SaaS cloud. Responsibilities Required Qualifications MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. 10+ years of experience in system/application architecture/design with skills in database, infrastructure, and networking. 6+ years of software development experience in a distributed cloud engineering environment. Deep technical knowledge and experience in SaaS or PaaS engineering. Experience in developing large-scale applications and services. Proficient in Java, C++, or similar object-oriented programming languages. Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and other cloud-native components. Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation. Demonstrated ability in creating resilient and fault-tolerant systems. Strong collaborator with multiple engineering teams across organizations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information effectively. Able to thrive in a collaborative, agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle). Understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms. Familiarity with cross-functional features in cloud platforms. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services, regions, and multi-AD designs. Strong customer and executive communication skills, excelling in team environments. Compensation and Benefits: Oracle offers a competitive salary range for this role, from $96,800 to $251,600 per year, along with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral.
