Job Description The Engineering team at OCI is responsible for nurturing relationships with our most critical customers who are pivotal to driving our revenue. Given the rapid growth of Cloud Native businesses, we are excited to form the Strategic Pursuits team to navigate Oracle's most significant and high-growth cloud opportunities. As a Principal Solution Architect on this team, you will guide our most strategic customers through technical challenges related to OCI. Act as the primary technical liaison, delivering tailored tech solutions to our strategic customers by collaborating closely with TPMs, customer engineers, and OCI backend service and infrastructure teams. Identify and resolve major technical obstacles, taking full ownership of strategies and executions that focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Represent customer needs to Oracle's cloud engineering teams while accurately conveying product perspectives when discussing demands with frontend teams, fostering trust within service teams. Facilitate discussions between backend teams and customers to bridge technological, linguistic, and cultural barriers. This role offers flexible working hours, with occasional after-hours meetings to accommodate APAC audiences. Responsibilities Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience), with 10 years of expertise in architecting and implementing solutions on major cloud service providers. Extensive knowledge of cloud-native business architecture and hands-on experience with cloud migration projects and AI infrastructure; familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and governance principles. Strong customer-focused attitude with a solid sense of ownership. Proactive self-starter mindset with robust problem-solving skills. A collaborative approach as a team player, dedicated to meeting business needs and empowering the sales team to outperform competitors. Ability to devise detailed customer engagement strategies to adapt to the rapid feature delivery on the platform. Excellent communication and presentation abilities; fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is a must. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as solution architect, pre-sales, or Technical Account Manager. Experience with GPU and AI infrastructure is a significant advantage. Familiarity with the competitive landscape and offerings from major providers. Stay updated with OCI platform enhancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies; ability to write technical blogs and represent OCI in executive-level meetings, industry events, and strategic forums within the Cloud and AI infrastructure ecosystem. The following salary range is specific to the US: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, with eligibility for bonuses and equity.
