Job Description The Vendor Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing vendor onboarding, compliance, and ongoing support across various state programs. Acting as the main point of contact for suppliers, you will deliver exceptional customer service and technical support, addressing portal-related issues in systems like ServiceNow, Simplify, and VectorVMS®. You will ensure accurate processing of vendor applications while maintaining required documentation and facilitating supplier activation and compliance activities. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams such as Accounts Payable and Account Managers to streamline payment updates, supplier record modifications, insurance compliance, and alignment with program requirements. The Vendor Relations Specialist should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling multiple priorities while providing an outstanding customer experience. This role is full-time and fully remote. This position does not offer employment sponsorship. All candidates must be eligible to work without need for employer sponsorship. What You'll Do Customer Facing: Review Vendor Applications as per state contracts using the supplier Management Portal (ServiceNow). Manage registration, enrollment materials, and documentation updates. Provide customer service support through inquiries and helpdesk emails. Utilize Vendor Management System (VMS) and Simplify for supplier activations and compliance upkeep. Offer technical assistance for utilizing the supplier management portal, including password resets. Resolve issues related to VectorVMS® and ServiceNow functionality. Build and maintain a positive reputation with customers. Internal Facing: Collaborate with internal teams to achieve goals and provide status updates. Work alongside Accounts Payable for payment term and address changes. Assist with supplier sub setups for state clients and ensure insurance compliance. Collaborate with Account Managers to offer necessary updates. What You'll Need Required: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience. Proven ability to conduct detailed requirements analysis. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities. Capacity to manage multiple implementations concurrently. Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications. Excellent time management and organizational skills. High attention to detail. Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow. Familiarity with Simplify. Knowledge of VectorVMS. Experience with Workday. Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel. Experience using Microsoft Teams. Physical Demands Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully. Sedentary work requiring sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with some need to move around for meetings. The pay for this position is $40,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on factors like location, experience, and education.
