Job Title: Data Operations Analyst Job Type: FT Location: Charlotte, NC - Local candidates only (Hybrid 3+ days in office) (Applicants must currently live within commuting distance to our Charlotte, NC office. The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for executing, monitoring, and supporting daily production data processes within the Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) domain, including HSAs, FSAs, DCAs, HRAs, and COBRA. The Data Operations Analyst reports to the VP of Process and Planning. This role ensures accurate, reliable, and timely data operations in a fast-paced environment where precision and accountability are critical. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL expertise, scripting capabilities, and production support experience with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem solving. Key Responsibilities Execute, monitor, and support daily production workflows and data processing activities to ensure operational accuracy and timeliness. Manage file ingestion processes, including receipt, validation, loading, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of inbound data files. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and scripts used for data extraction, validation, reporting, and operational support. Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, processing errors, and production issues with minimal supervision. Perform ongoing data quality checks to ensure compliance with CDH program requirements and regulatory standards. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of operational procedures, data flows, file specifications, and issue resolution steps. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address data-related inquiries and support client needs. Recommend and support process improvements, workflow enhancements, and automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency. Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support using SQL and Excel. Other duties as assigned. Maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes our company's core values. Requirements Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in data operations, data analysis, or a related analytical role. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related analytical field preferred. Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries. Experience developing or maintaining scripts (SQL-based scripts, shell scripts, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation. Experience working with file-based data formats (CSV, TXT, XML, JSON) and secure file transfer methods (SFTP). Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Experience in Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH), benefits administration, or healthcare data environments preferred. Familiarity with ETL tools, workflow automation, or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service. Work Environment FloresHR's standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional hybrid office environment based out of our Charlotte office (off West Morehead) (3+ days in office). This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with FloresHR team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
