SENIOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - COMMERCIAL BANKING WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Join our team as a Senior Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking, where you will play a crucial role in developing and managing strong relationships with commercial clients. You will present a diverse range of product solutions to meet client needs while providing exceptional and responsive service. You will have the authority to approve transactions, manage relationship profitability, and minimize portfolio risk, ensuring fruitful growth through proactive engagement and excellent client care. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Identify and cultivate profitable relationships with prospects and clients in alignment with the bank's goals. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and maintain the bank's credit quality standards. Collaborate with other departments to provide tailored solutions for clients, representing the bank in the community to attract new clients and colleagues. Create a Strategic Relationship Plan for each client or prospect, setting objectives for revenue and growth potential. Engage existing and prospective clients by discussing all bank products and services to establish comprehensive banking relationships. Negotiate transactions and documentation of loan approvals, ensuring compliance with bank policies and sound credit judgement. Participate in civic and community events to promote the bank and foster relationships. Cooperate with other departments to address and meet client needs, driving organization-wide objectives. Analyze account activities and client profitability, preparing management reports to guide portfolio management. Monitor portfolio quality and adherence to policies while addressing potential issues proactively. Stay informed about market conditions and competitive products, helping to enhance client offerings. Assess troubled credits and collaborate with clients on solutions to mitigate risks. Serve as a product expert, providing consultancy to clients and colleagues across different sectors and locations. Manage a diverse portfolio, ensuring operational excellence while maximizing cross-selling opportunities. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of lending experience. A minimum of 5 years of credit experience. Additional Qualifications: Strong understanding of products and services relevant to commercial clients. Knowledge of commercial credit policies and banking operations. Proven sales and marketing skills. Solid credit analysis and accounting skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Proficient in making informed business decisions autonomously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in cross-selling and relationship management. Comprehensive understanding of commercial credit standards. Strong analytical capabilities for risk assessment. Ability to work independently while also thriving in team settings. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation: The starting base salary ranges from $122,535 to $208,715 per year, potentially augmented by bonuses or commissions based on performance.
