As a Mortgage Loan Officer in External Sales, you will work remotely, building strong relationships and helping individuals secure the mortgage loans that fit their financial needs and dreams of home ownership. Your role will involve: Working with prospective customers to identify suitable mortgage loan options based on their financial circumstances. Spending substantial time outside of Fulton office locations to foster relationships and generate referrals from realtors, builders, accountants, and other relevant sources. Developing a network of referral sources that creates ongoing mortgage origination opportunities. Maintaining contact with real estate professionals by attending open house events and engaging with builders on job sites. Participating in trade shows and real estate mixers to expand your contact base. Collecting and analyzing applicants' financial information to assess eligibility for mortgage loans. Providing clear explanations of available mortgage options, risks, benefits, and terms to your clients. Conducting persuasive sales activities to encourage potential customers to choose Fulton Mortgage Company. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards throughout the mortgage process. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent (required). At least one year of recent residential mortgage lending experience, preferably in the local market (required). Proven ability to develop external referral sources.
