What Do Resident Care Companions and STNAs Do? Engage with residents while assisting with daily living activities. Support residents with personal care routines, including showers and hygiene. Help residents with meals, activities, social programs, and appointments. Attend to various other daily needs as necessary. Qualifications: STNA certification required for STNA positions. No certification needed for Resident Care Companion roles. Experience in senior living is beneficial but not necessary. A positive attitude and a caring spirit for seniors are essential.
