Job Summary: As a Restaurant Shift Leader, you'll take charge of the restaurant during your shift at Fulenwider Enterprises KFC and Taco Bell! Responsibilities: Supervise Shift: Oversee all facets of restaurant operations during your shift, managing staff, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Team Leadership: Inspire and support your team to deliver exceptional service while cultivating a positive work environment where everyone feels appreciated. Customer Service: Engage with customers, take orders, and create an enjoyable dining experience. Resolve any concerns quickly and professionally. Food Safety: Uphold high food safety standards by monitoring food preparation, storage, and handling processes to mitigate health risks. Cash Handling: Manage cash registers, process payments, and keep accurate financial records. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as necessary, and ensure proper stock rotation. Shift Reports: Compile shift reports detailing sales, labor costs, and any incidents occurring during your shift. Training: Onboard and train new team members on company policies, procedures, and standards for customer service. Problem-Solving: Tackle unexpected challenges, mediate conflicts, and make quick decisions to maintain smooth operations. Cleanliness: Ensure the restaurant is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Promotions and Specials: Aid in marketing new menu items, deals, and promotions to boost sales. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is preferred. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills are essential. Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting and adjust to changing circumstances. Availability: Must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food Safety Certification: Preferred, but can be obtained during employment.
