Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Eng Services AIP FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Evenings Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Compensation is based on the relevant experience of the applicant. Overview: Join our dedicated team and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our facilities. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining essential physical facilities, equipment, systems, and utilities, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently operate and maintain equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure a safe care environment. Accurately document and report on work performed. Access various areas including roofs, basements, tunnels, and other confined spaces as needed. Respond promptly to facility emergencies to mitigate disruptions and protect patient care. Conduct general industrial maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and other systems specifically tailored to healthcare needs. Manage inventories and deliver supplies and materials. Perform custodial duties and snow removal as necessary. Assist in moving equipment as required. Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment while working independently in a high-paced environment. Requirements: High School diploma or GED. No specific licensure or certification required, though relevant certifications may be preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
