General Assembly - All Shifts

Job consists of the responsibility for the prepping, assembly, testing and/or packing of a variety of electrical, mechanical, and/or electro-mechanical devices. Must be able to use a variety of tools, gages, machines, and simple measuring devices to assure proper conformance to specifications and drawings. May be on feet all day.• Is responsible to uphold safety, quality, and production standards. • May perform assembly, finishing, testing, and packing operations and adjust process or product for proper appearance, mechanical, and/or electrical function. • Following clearly defined process sheets, verbal instructions, visual aids, assembly instruction machinery or model, employee performs specified assembly procedure on a production basis. • May be required to operate forklift or other material handling devices. • Completes orders on time and to the required specification. • Makes changes and adjustments to tools, machines, and fixtures. • Rejects defective material. • Handles material as directed to ensure an uninterrupted flow of work. • Advises on better means to complete the functions within the job and continually improves the operation.
