What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health As a Pharmaceutical Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering and distributing essential radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to healthcare providers. You will ensure that products are delivered accurately and promptly, adhering to safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Schedule Full-time position with 40 hours per week. Workdays: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Days Off: Tuesday, Wednesday Weekday Shift: Monday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Weekend Shift: Saturday and Sunday from 3:30 AM to 11:30 AM On-Call: Required Candidates must be flexible to accommodate varying schedules as needed. Responsibilities Deliver radiopharmaceutical medication to customer accounts using a company vehicle (non-CDL). Package radiopharmaceuticals for safe shipment and manage loading and unloading of containers. Utilize a handheld tablet to facilitate order scanning and route navigation. Process returns from customer locations efficiently. Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor repairs as necessary. Assist in general cleaning and upkeep of the facility. Demonstrate understanding of systems that support product delivery, including technology-assisted packaging and route optimization. Ensure accuracy in labeling outgoing shipments. Prepare receipts for products delivered. Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with safety standards. Log deliveries accurately and maintain vehicle inspection records. Participate in required training, including safety and compliance programs. Contribute to a safe and efficient pharmacy operation by completing all necessary tasks. Deliver to accounts while utilizing the safest and most efficient routes. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record are mandatory. Minimum age of 18 for driving company vehicles. Prior delivery driving experience is an advantage. Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds. Comfortable driving in various weather conditions and during all hours. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as required. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed. Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
